Our School Goals
Our school goals align with the district strategic plan:
Goal 4 - Content-Area Competence: Mastery of All Subjects
Areas of Focus
- By June 1, 2026, the percent of students who score a 3 or 4 on the Math SBA will increase from 37% to 47% and the percent of students scoring on or above level on the iReady Math end of year assessment will increase from 47% to 60%. Scholars who identify as ML or have an IEP will make a median typical growth of 130%.
- By June 1, 2026, the percent of students who score a 3 or 4 on the Reading SBA will increase from 41% to 51% and the percent of students scoring on or above level on the iReady Math end of year assessment will increase from 57% to 70%. Scholars who identify as ML or have an IEP will make a median typical growth of 150%.
Goal 2 - Whole Child: Thriving, Confident, Responsible Individuals
Area of Focus
- By June 1, 2026, 4 of 9 months of schoolwide discipline disproportionality on all referrals as measured by the risk ratio, will show all subgroups falling between 0.5 and 1.5.
Aligned Signature Strategies:
- Develop and implement with fidelity a culturally responsive, standards-aligned, guaranteed and viable curriculum, instruction and assessment system in ALL core subjects in every school and in every classroom. (4.1)
- Utilize culturally competent practices to provide fair and equitable opportunities for all scholars and help remove potential barriers to scholar engagement and academic success (3.3)
- Engage Professional Learning Communities in a cycle of Inquiry using multiple measures to inform and adjust instruction while disaggregating data through an equity lens. (4.4)
- Ensure systems for social emotional support (Culturally Responsive PBIS, Second Step, SEL Integrated through, Zones of Regulation, Kelsos Choices) are implemented school-wide; all staff and students are taught, provided with frequent feedback to implement with fidelity.
- Provide staff professional development to increase staff’s capacity to engage in conversations about race, bias, and disproportionality to foster positive, culturally sustaining, productive classroom environments and relationships.
